Orofacial Myology is a specialty field within the disciplines of speech-language pathology and dentistry/dental hygiene. 


A tongue thrust is a term that is used to describe the swallowing action of the tongue when it does not rest on the roof of the mouth. 


If you are concerned about Oral Ties, a FULL FUNCTIONAL evaluation, typically lasting 1-2 hours.

Sleep Disordered

Sleep disordered breathing is an upper airway obstruction which includes sleep apnea and exists in both children and adults. Airway is KEY for healthy growth and sleep!

Myofunctional Evaluation

A comprehensive examination of the face, teeth, posture, breathing, and muscle function in these areas.

Myofunctional Therapy

Myofunctional Therapy uses a series of exercises to retrain the muscles of the face and tongue to correct oral rest posture, chewing, and swallowing while promoting nasal breathing.


Sucking habits include fingers, thumbs, lips, tongue, pacifiers, or blankets which may affect how the face and teeth develop.

Myo Munchee

Dr. Moore is a Certified Myo Munchee Practitioner. This amazing device can be added into myofunctional therapy or used as a precursor for younger children not old enough for myofunctional therapy.
